Payment and Quotes

All prices are listed in USD.
Make sure you have all the funds before requesting to commission, unless requesting an alternate payment plan.
Commission prices are subject to change and may vary. Understand that more complex characters, such as those with props, weapons, pets, or detailed designs, will have extra fees.
Payment is done through PayPal invoice. Most PayPal invoices can be paid through credit or debit cards.
Payment is expected within 24 to 48 hours of ordering.
Payment is fully upfront. However, should the price of orders exceed $125, I’m willing to discuss a payment plan until the total is paid off. There must be a $75 down payment.
Commissions will not be started until full payment is received.
Quotes can be requested at any time; payment is not required immediately. The quote will be valid for one month until it expires.
Process
The commission form or information provided by the customer should contain all information wanted in the commission.
A clear, digital reference of the character should be provided, unless the order is of a custom.
Screenshots and WIPs are available upon request.
While requests for screenshots or WIPs are allowed, excessive requests and / or harassment will not be tolerated and risk the cancellation of the commission, of which up to 70% may be refunded depending on the progress of the order.
Fullbodies are sketched and approved before finalization.
Custom designs are fully concepted, tweaked, and approved before finalization.
The sketching phase is when tweaks should be made. Major changes or changes in expression, pose, etc., afterwards will come with a fee.
Denied sketches will no longer be able to be used by the client, and instead will be completely repurposed into another work by me and will not resemble the client's character.
Changes after finalization may require fees. No fee will be required if I missed the information on my side and if it was provided clearly by the customer.
Turnaround
Orders may take a few days up to a 3 months per piece, possibly longer if delays are experienced.
Should you want an update, do not be afraid to contact me through one of my socials.
If I expect delays, I will contact you.
Deadlines can be discussed between me and the customer, but please let me know as far in advance as possible. Rush fees may apply.
Refunds and Cancellations
I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time.
I do not offer refunds unless I cancel the order myself. Should that happen, I can refund up to 70% of the payment depending on the progress of the order.
Should the client issue a chargeback, whether intentional or unintentional, they are expected to reimburse the chargeback or else will be blacklisted.
Rights and Distribution
I retain all copyright to the commissioned work. This includes but is not limited to: posting the art on my social media, using it in my portfolio, and using it for promotional purposes. This also includes commercial use, such as for prints or merchandise.
Customers may not use the artwork for commercial purposes such as, but not limited to: merchandise, prints for sale, etc.; the commissioned work is for personal use only. However, personal prints may be made.
The commissioned art should not be altered or edited without permission.
My art may not be edited, traced, heavily referenced, recolored, copied, or redistributed, regardless if it was paid for.
Cropping of the art is allowed for use for icons or pages. Permission is not needed. Credit is encouraged, however.
The reposting of the commissioned work by the customer is discouraged but allowed (if done, please do credit, @, or tag me); instead, consider asking me to post the work and reblog / retweet / share in some other way linking to my post. However, please note that the posting of the work is under my discretion and is not necessarily an obligation.
My art should not be used besides by the customer of their commissioned art.
My watermark should remain intact.
Clients are not permitted, under any circumstances, to use any part of their finished commission for non-fungible tokens or generative AI. Use of my artwork for any advertising or profits associated with non-fungible tokens, blockchains, cryptocurrency, or generative AI is strictly prohibited.
Designs
Credit for the design is required. If the character is on Toyhouse, credit my Toyhouse account, wishful, for the design.
My designs have a two week transfer cooldown upon transfer of ownership.
You may change of name, gender, species, etc. As long as they do not promote hateful speech or ideology.
You may not sell a design over its original value, unless there is additional art.
For example, don't buy one of my designs for $10 and resell it for $50 if there's the equal amount of art the design had before.
You may not sell my designs that were originally obtained via trade or gift. The exception is if the value of the trade was discussed beforehand.
You may not co-own my designs. I do not allow separate character profiles from the original profile. A design created by me with a character profile that does not credit my Toyhouse, wishful, is invalid.
You may not enforce additional strict binding terms on my designs, such as tradelocking. Priority pings are allowed as a courtesy.
You may not claim you created the design, regardless if you've redesigned the character.
You may not change the character so it's unrecognizable from its original design.
You may not create breedables or look-alikes relating to my design(s).
It's heavily discouraged to sell or trade my character designs off of Toyhouse. If the character design is reuploaded to Toyhouse, there is a high likelihood I will not accept creator credit, which means the design is invalid, due to the fact that the official profile originally created by me should already exist on Toyhouse.
Valid Accounts
You must be 18+ to bid, though anyone is allowed to offer characters and art.
Your account must be (1) over three months old; (2) can provide proof of other active and clearly linked social media; and / or (3) shows clear activity through interaction, uploaded content, profile page, other social media in addition to Toyhouse, etc.
Offers from invalid accounts will be removed with a notification to the previous bidder if in the middle of a bid chain.
I am able to refuse service regardless of reason.
Offering and Bidding
Art payments must have a reasonable turnaround and communication, preferably taking less than six months for completion; ghosting is not tolerated and will result in blacklisting, as art counts as a payment, even if not monetary.
If offering solely USD, please bid in a chain responding to the most recent bidder.
Be serious about your offer and do not feel pressured to rush.
Do not edit or delete your offer without prior permission, only offer what you have.
If you make a mistake when bidding, please contact me.
Users will earn a strike per bid retraction, where accumulating three strikes results in blacklisting; each strike lasts for three months. Additionally, after each strike the user will be put on a two-month long greylist where bids and commission inquiries will be considered invalid.
Users who delete their bids prior to notification will result in blacklisting.
You must state a hold or payment plan beforehand when offering or bidding.
You may request friends or me to proxy-bid for ease of bidding if you cannot respond to the most recent bidder.
One may not bid or autobuy if they have one ongoing payment plan. This payment plan type is separate from commission-based or non-design-based payment plans.
Snipeguard
An extension of an hour will be applied to the latest bid, regardless if the character profile surpasses the default time allotted.
Payment
Payment is through PayPal invoice and is expected within 24 hours after the invoice is sent, unless a hold or payment plan is specified.
Lack of communication and having to repeatedly send reminders makes me disinclined to interact in the future and may risk being put on a greylist for future business.
Failing to follow through on payment forfeits your claim and results in blacklisting. Backing out of a hold or payment plan in the middle of payment will not refund what has been paid already.
Forfeited claim means that the design is opened to offers once more.
Sales are final after purchase.
Holds and Payment Plans
Holds or payment plans up to three weeks are available with a $75 non-refundable down payment.
Longer payment plans for amounts over $500 may be discussed, though concrete dates still must be upheld.
Trusted buyers will typically have more flexibility for payment plans, due to a reliable history of payment. If this is the case, I will offer the option.
Be prepared to have concrete dates of the plan or hold.
Harrassment
If commenting just to sow pettiness or discord, I will be IP blocking with no second chances.
Rather than dog-piling others in response, please just wait for me to handle the matter privately.
Privacy
By default, the design will be privated with a key given to the claimer, after the offering or bidding period has ended. The claimer may request the design not to be privated, but privating is the standard option to provide the claimer privacy and sense of peace due to the nature of this community.
Ownership Cooldown
Designs have an ownership cooldown of two weeks.
